Genus description from Zawierucha et al. 2023: “Transparent body, bucco-pharyngeal apparatus consists of rigid and flexible part. Oval dorsal apodeme (thickening, drop-like structure) absent. Stylet furcae of the Hypsibius type. Three macro-placoids and elongated microplacoid in the pharyngeal bulb. Septulum absent. Claws of the Hypsibius type.”
